For years the start of April has been a very exciting time in this household. Two children and two birthdays in the first two days of the month! Preparation and planning went on for weeks prior to the big days. For the first few years, parties were imagined, planned, and coordinated with family members arriving from near and far. As the children's age increased, their interest in parties with the family decreased, but we could always count on a special meal and a chocolate birthday cake two days in a row.
As the years have passed, we parents became all too aware of how FAST that clock has been ticking. In what seems like A BLINK OF AN EYE, the 21st and 23rd birthdays have arrived! With no apparent excitement at this location.due to both young adults off at school, I had to enlist the help of our four legged friends to help create a birthday atmosphere here at home as seen by their thrilled looks in these pictures! Oh well, I tried.
