SNOW DAY!

The boys worked hard clearing drives all day.  It's quite an operation they have devised.  Leo loves the snow, and had to be in on all the activity.

Finally! A Winter Wonderland!

Snow makes all the difference in a long cold winter.  Snow days are always fun for the students, and 10" makes a great sledding base.  So off we go to play in the snow... (and yes, it is still in the teens!)

It's STILL Cold Out There!!

Thinking that  you my be tired of looking at the -19 degrees....I thought an update would be in order.  The problem is....it is STILL COLD!  Since the 16th we have only had a couple of days above freezing.  Today...12 degrees and flurries.  (The weather update is especially for Kevie, basking in the FL sunshine.)
Thanks to Mo for this is the magnet which now adorns my new fridge. (The Dove Beautiful Bar was already put to good use.)  What happened to the old fridge, you ask?  It now has the new job of keeping the beer cold in the garage.  The OLD OLD fridge, yes the one with the dents on ALL corners, was hauled out to the curb with a sign that said "I Work & I'm FREE!"  The very first afternoon, it found a new home.  Yippee.  We will now have one less item in the "Evidence" category for Kevin's Foibles.  That reminds me....the 2 halves of the oriental runner have been put out for Salvation Army.  If you haven't heard THAT story, you may want to ask Kevin.

It's Cold Out There!

-19 is Cold! For those who think I whine or exaggerate...This is a photo I took first thing this morning.  I have never seen the thermometer that low, and without the wind chill factor.  All is well here, though, because Kevie is home from sunny Florida!  Hope you all have a great weekend!  Stay warm.

She's Got Hair!

For those of you who have not yet met our most recent family addition.....here's Evelyn at 5.5 months.  She has personality galore, and is extremely happy.  The cousins are always having lots of fun with her.  For example, the Irish dancer, Anna, decided that sharing her HAIR would be fun.....
This picture is bound to be one of Evelyn's favorites when she's older.  Just think of the reaction of her school teacher when the students bring in a baby photo for the bulletin board!!

Now maybe Kevie's title of "Uncle Creeper" can be revoked, and  awarded to Evie's other uncle.... Way to go Uncle Michael on your new title!   None of us ever claimed to be normal, and now we have the photos to prove it!
And let's just say all this runs in the family.
